Eating During Pregnancy

I cannot talk about this enough, it is so very important to eat well and whole foods during pregnancy. I can even say that it is just as important to eat this way even before you start growing a baby. Growing a baby is the most fabulous event in a pregnant person’s life. Just think about how magical that is! Growing a human, such a gift we have been given to be able to do that. Looking after ourselves and this growing human starts with eating well. The right foods, protein rich foods, local ingredients, we know where they are from and even know who produced them even better. Eating well during pregnancy actually will get passed on to baby, believe it or not. Baby will like these foods that grew them. Our blood volume increases so much that we need to compensate for that and we do so by eating well. I don’t need to tell you what eating well means, you should already know what i’m talking about when I say that. Actually during pregnancy, eating will become a full time concern. Eating often throughout the day will ensure that you are taking on the necessary calories, even during the night have something to snack on when you go to the washroom to empty that bladder, which will be often. Dr.Brewer diet http://drbrewerpregnancydiet.com even suggest eating every hour small amounts of healthy snacks. The basic Brewer diet recommends a daily minimum of 2600 calories. 80-120 grams of protein, salt to taste, green veggies, whole grains, fats, and vitamin rich foods.
